Kinetic sculptures and contraptions are fun, interactive mechanisms that people can play with and that teach students about basic STEM principles. Contraptions can vary in size, shape, function, and materials used.
A panel of qualified judges will be evaluating and scoring contraptions on three major criteria:
- Innovation and Originality
- Form and Function
- Artistic Aesthetics and Craftsmanship
(A detailed Judging Rubric will be released on the NH TechFest website no later than September 15th, 2019). Winners will be announced at 2:00 PM on the day of the event.
