What Can You Show Us?

We are looking for companies and organizations who would be willing to either conduct hands-on activities, or provide a presentation, demonstration, or lecture. In addition to booths and demonstration areas in the gymnasium and lobby areas, we will also have use of at least one outdoor athletic field, as well as a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art 500+ seat auditorium.

To help defray our costs, suggested exhibitor donations are $75 for non-profit organizations and $200 for corporate exhibitors. University graduate students please contact us if your department will not cover your expenses. All fees are waived if your company is also an official NH TechFest sponsor.  Checks made out to NH TechFest may be mailed to NH TechFest, PO Box 554, Atkinson, NH 03811. A Pay Pal option will be presented once you have registered.

When filling out the Exhibitor Registration, please keep in mind the following:

Hands-on Activities:

  • While people of all ages will pass by your booth, activities should be leveled for middle and high school students and actively engage the student. Hands on!
  • The time to accomplish the activity needs to be less than 10-15 minutes.
  • The activity needs to emphasis one or more of the STEM areas and be interesting and thought provoking. Hopefully the student will say: "Cool! I want to know more about this."
  • We strongly recommend that you have a scientist or engineer at the booth at all times – students love to “meet the scientist”!
  • The activity should, of course, be safe and involve no potential for harm
  • Give-aways or build and take-aways are highly encouraged
  • Activity sheets including references to STEM careers are suggested and should be available for the student to take home.
  • We will supply a booth identification poster with company name and the title of your activity. Please be prepared to provide appropriate information for production of the poster at least two weeks before the event.

Booth Demonstrations and Displays:

  • If a hands-on activity is not possible, lively and interesting demos and displays are welcome.
  • Posters, charts, videos, and hand-outs are all appropriate visual aides.

Lectures and Theater Presentations

  • We will have a limited number of time slots for lectures or presentations in a theatrical setting. Please let us know if you would like to present in such a format, and specify all equipment needed.
  • Full audio/visual equipment will be available, including computer projector and PA system. Please let us know if you will require a computer and/or network access.

Walk-around Presentations

  • In order to add to the festive atmosphere, we welcome individuals or groups who wish to present in a roaming, or walk-around format.
  • Typical examples of this kind of presentation would be historical character actors talking about their life, or costumed characters who have a message to deliver or a demonstration to perform.

Outside Activities

  • Depending on the weather, we will have a limited number of outside activity tables or areas available for demonstrations or activities that may require it.

Booth Personnel

  • All booths must be manned at all times for answering (and asking) questions. We will have assistants on hand to work with you. Please let us know ASAP if you will need assistance.
  • The event will be open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm. All exhibitors are expected to participate for the full day. During that time, your booth needs to be staffed by warm, smiling faces at all times.
  • Set up will take place beginning at 8 am, we expect your booth to be ready at 9 am for the Exhibitor Preview. Tear down will commence immediately at 4 PM. We will have plenty of volunteers to assist with load-in and load-out.

Just Curious?

Are you just simply wondering what NH TechFest is all about?

NH TechFest exists to get teenagers excited about their future and the importance of Science and Technology in any career. We want to showcase cutting edge innovations that will stimulate interest, inspire questions and deeper research into those areas. Our exhibitors are present to field questions, demonstrate their cool devices, and share knowledge.
